Biography

Karpis Yavryan was born on May 31, 1969, in Yerevan, Armenia. After completing secondary school in 1986, he was accepted to the Yerevan State Art-Theater Institute. From 1987 to 1989 he served in the military, returning to complete his studies. He graduated summa cum laude from the Department of Fine Arts in 1994.

Between 1994 and 1996, Yavryan taught graphic arts at the institute. In 2010 he became a member of the Armenian Artists Union and the Worldwide Union of Armenian Artists.
